Aksa Energy's Environmental, Social, and Governance Score Rises by 11 Points to 64

Aksa Enerji (IS:AKSEN) has managed to maintain its current position in all indices, including the BIST Sustainability Index, as announced by Borsa Istanbul (BIST) regarding index changes. Under the criteria of the Sustainability Index, Aksa Enerji's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) rating, assessed by the independent rating company Refinitiv, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange, has increased by 11 points from last year to reach a score of 64.

In a statement from Aksa Enerji, the following information was provided: "Aksa Enerji, which has been part of the BIST Sustainability Index for 9 consecutive years, focuses on continuous development through long-term efforts in sustainability, placing it at the center of its business processes.

Since 2016, Aksa Enerji has been publicly sharing its sustainability reports prepared in accordance with GRI Standards, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals such as Gender Equality, Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequalities, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

As Turkey's largest publicly traded global electricity producer, Aksa Enerji aims to improve the quality of life in the regions where it operates, with 10 power plants across 7 countries and an installed capacity exceeding 2,600 MW, while ensuring equal and secure access to energy."
