Xpeng Updates G6 and G9 SUV Models at Lower Prices

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng (NYSE:XPEV) unveiled updated versions of its G6 and G9 SUV models on Thursday. The refreshed models are introduced with lower price tags compared to their predecessors.

The new G6 model is priced at 176,800 yuan (approximately $24,400), reflecting an 11.6% decrease from the earlier version. Similarly, the G9 model will be available for 248,800 yuan, indicating a 5.7% price reduction. This information was revealed by Xpeng Chairman He Xiaopeng at a press conference. Both updated models are equipped with Xpeng’s proprietary Turing AI smart driving system, which enhances autonomous driving capabilities and is included in the vehicle's price at no extra cost.
