Google has added new features to Gemini and has launched a free trial.
Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) has announced significant updates to its Gemini application, introducing new features and enhancements. The tech giant is releasing an advanced version of the 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental model, which includes additional capabilities such as file uploads. Designed to break commands into a series of steps to enhance logical abilities and provide better responses, the model now offers improved efficiency and speed.
Gemini Advanced users can now access a 1M token context window with the 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental, enabling them to analyze large amounts of data and tackle complex problems. Additionally, Google is expanding the availability of its Deep Research tool, launched in December, which acts as a personal AI research assistant, synthesizing information from across the web in minutes. This tool is now integrated with Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental, enhancing Research capabilities and enabling the creation of detailed, multi-page reports. Starting today, Deep Research is available to users in over 45 languages, with Gemini users enjoying limited free access and Gemini Advanced users receiving expanded access.
