BIST 100 started the day with an upward trend: Which stocks stood out at the opening?

The BIST 100 index started the day with a 1.76% increase, reaching 9,462.68 points. After a positive opening, gains were maintained in the early trades. The index closed yesterday with a rise of 2.82%, finishing at 9,299.36 points, gaining a total of 254.72 points from the previous close. During the day, the index saw a low of 8,872.75 points and peaked at 9,386.54 points, with its dollar-based value at 245.18 dollars.

Across the market, 62 sectoral and national indices closed in the positive, while only 3 indices recorded losses. The technology index was the biggest gainer of the day, rising by 7.04%. Conversely, the factoring index faced the largest decline, dropping by 0.67%. Of the 100 stocks included in the BIST 100, 82 experienced value increases, while 18 lost value, with a total trading volume of 182.7 billion TL (approximately 4.8 billion dollars).
