More than 20 people were killed in the missile attack carried out by Russia on Ukraine's Sumy city.

The attack was carried out just a day after high-level diplomats from Russia and Ukraine accused each other of violating a temporary agreement reached with U.S. mediation to halt attacks on energy infrastructure.

Local officials reported that at least 20 people were killed in attacks carried out by Russia in the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday morning. Images circulating on social media show the aftermath of the attacks on the city center. Artem Kobzar stated through social media, "Our community has experienced a terrible tragedy in this bright Palm Sunday," he said. "Unfortunately, we already know that more than 20 people have died." Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday celebrated a week before Easter. Many Ukrainians go to church for this holiday.
